Hinton Admiral

Hinton Admiral is located just on the outskirts of the New Forest, on the Hampshire/Dorset border, along the A35. Within this region is Hinton Admiral railway station, which was opened in 1885, and to this day is a stop on the main South West Railway line.

Although it is a small settlement, there is quite a bit to see and do! Hinton is home to a selection of places to eat and drink, including Colin Nash Restaurant, which particularly focuses on local produce that is authentically cooked, offering contemporary charm and exquisite fare for all who visit. Other food and drink options include Crow Spotter Café, Drop the Anchor Brewery and The Cat & Fiddle pub.

For things to do, you’ll find the amazing Cat & Fiddle Farm located in Hinton. Here you can pick your own strawberries and wander through the sunflowers during the summer and see the seasonal crops grow in the colder months! On site, there is also a small farm shop and lovely café.
