Bramshaw

Bramshaw is a small but very pretty village located on the edge of the New Forest, bordering the county of Wiltshire. This lovely village is made up of open forest and woodlands, some owned by Forestry England and some owned by the National Trust, and is host to a hotel, a pub, a shop, a golf course and some amazing houses.

Surrounded by forest, the village is an ideal place to walk and explore our heathlands and ancient woodlands, or even to discover the New Forest’s highest point at Pipers Wait. Bramshaw is also a popular location for our free-roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle to graze. It is the only location where you will see free-roaming sheep and where pigs are out all year round.

You must visit The Bell Inn when in Bramshaw. Whether for a refreshing drink during your forest adventures, a bite to eat with friends and family, or to stay the night in their wonderful rooms. This hotel is a brilliant location to relax and see wildlife wandering by.

Bramshaw Golf Club is located in natural forest surroundings of open heathland and mighty trees with fabulous views.  Just remember that the roaming animals have right of way!
